How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Laptop?

This is the question we hear most often, and fair enough — before you rent anything, you want to know what it will cost you. The short answer: it depends on three things — which machine you take, for how long, and how many units. Below we explain each one, and then how to get an exact figure in about a minute.

First: the class of laptop

A machine for typing up an essay doesn’t cost the same as a workstation that renders video. We have around 60 refurbished laptops on offer, divided into classes:

• Student / basic — for typing, browsing, online classes.
• Business — Dell Latitude and HP EliteBook class, reliable machines for everyday office work.
• Workstations — stronger processors and more memory, for CAD, video editing, engineering software.
• Gaming — laptops with a more powerful graphics card, for games and graphics work.

Second: rental length — the daily rate drops

This is the most important thing to know. We don’t charge a simple „daily rate times number of days“. Pricing works in tiers: 1–2 days, 3–7 days, 8–15 days, 16–30 days and monthly rental. The longer the period, the lower the daily rate — a monthly rental works out cheaper per day than renting for a day or two.

Third: quantity

For companies, events and training sessions that need several devices at once, pricing is agreed individually — it depends on the number of units, the class and the period. Get in touch with your rough requirements and we’ll come back with a concrete quote.

Why there’s no price list in this post

That’s deliberate. We work with refurbished laptops and the lineup changes constantly — models come and go, configurations differ. A price list published in an article would be outdated within a month and would only mislead you. Instead, the exact, up-to-date price is on each laptop’s page: enter the number of days and you’ll instantly see what it costs, with the tier that matches your period.

The price includes the fact that every laptop is cleaned, tested and set up before it goes out, with a working-condition guarantee. You sign a rental agreement and leave a refundable deposit, which we return in full when the equipment comes back in working order.
