Laptop for a Presentation or Meeting: Rent It for a Day, Return It Tomorrow
Your client presentation is tomorrow at ten. Your laptop is at the office in another city, or in for repair, or the colleague who’s bringing it can’t make it. It happens more often than you’d think. The fix is simple: rent a laptop for a day or two, get the job done, return it — and that’s that.
When renting a laptop for a single day makes sense
The most common situations:
- A presentation at a client’s office — you need a machine that boots reliably and just works, with no surprises in front of an audience.
- A meeting or a demo — you’re showing software, a project or a proposal, and you don’t want to improvise on someone else’s computer.
- A business guest in Belgrade — your partner flew in without equipment and needs a working machine for a day or two.
- Your computer died at the worst possible moment — and the meeting can’t be moved.
The same rate applies to all of these: a 1–2 day rental. The daily price drops the longer the period, but for a single meeting you don’t need a longer period anyway. You’ll see the exact price on each laptop’s page once you enter the number of days.
How it works in practice
You pick a laptop from our range — for meetings and presentations it’s usually something from the business laptops category, Dell Latitude and HP EliteBook class. Send an enquiry through the form on the product page or call us at +381 63 8615 186 (Viber and WhatsApp work too). We agree on the details, you sign a rental agreement, leave a refundable deposit — and the laptop is yours for the day.
You can pick it up in person at one of our three stores in Belgrade, or we’ll ship it by courier anywhere in Serbia. If you need the laptop first thing tomorrow morning, get in touch as early as you can so we can arrange the pickup in time. Return details are on the delivery and returns page, and we’ve described the whole process from enquiry to return in our guide on how laptop rental works.
The laptop arrives ready — no time wasted on setup
Before every rental we clean, test and set up each laptop, and we back it with a working-condition guarantee. For presentations that means one important thing: the machine boots and runs, with no waiting on updates and no last-minute installing.
If you’ll be presenting through a projector or a TV in the client’s meeting room, mention it in your enquiry. We’ll go through exactly what you need — which port, which adapter — so you’re not standing outside the room with a cable that won’t plug in. Things like that are easiest to solve in advance, with a single question.
If you need more than one laptop
For a larger meeting, a training session or a presentation with multiple workstations, we can prepare several machines at once — get in touch ahead of time and we’ll work it out. For situations like that, see our guide to laptop rental for events, and if your company has needs like this on a regular basis, there’s also a guide to laptop rental for businesses — companies get a contract and an invoice, with payment by bank transfer.
What to bring with you
For individuals, a personal document is enough — an ID card or a passport. Companies need their business details (tax ID and registration number). You sign a rental agreement and leave a refundable deposit, which we return in full when you bring the equipment back in working order. If the meeting runs long or another one comes up, extending the rental period is possible by arrangement — just let us know before it expires.
Behind the rental service is BG Computers, a computer repair shop in Belgrade — so if your own laptop has broken down, we can fix that too, and in the meantime you can use a replacement laptop while yours is being repaired.
